      Congratulations to Team Homan and Team Epping on winning the Grand Slam Of Curling 2015 Meridian Canadian Open! For Team Homan, this marks their third consecutive slam title, and seventh event title of the season. For Team Epping, this is their first slam and event title of the season. Team Homan are 52-6 overall this season. Their only loss at the event came to Team Paetz in the A qualifier game. Dropping to the B road, they defeated Team Fleury to qualify, followed by Team Sidorova in the quarterfinal, Team Carey in the semifinal, and ultimately Team Jones in the final. Overall they have won seven out of the eight events they have played in this season, losing to Team Tirinzoni in the final of the Tour Challenge back in September. Having won 3 out of the 4 Majors of the Grand Slam series, Team Homan can make history and secure a career Grand Slam with a win at the Players’ Championship in Toronto come April. Team Epping are having quite the season themselves, gaining momentum and seemingly getting better with each event. They qualified via the A road with a win over Team Koe, followed by Team Laycock in the quarterfinal, Team Koe in the semifinal, and Team Gushue in the final.
